At Ema4kids Legacy Foundation, our work is rooted in one simple belief: every young person deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and live with dignity š±, regardless of their background or circumstances. Over the years, this belief has shaped who we work with and the vision that drives everything we do.
š¤ Who Ema4kids Works With
Ema4kids works with orphans and vulnerable youth aged 15 to 29 who live in poverty and conflict affected communities šā”ļøš. Many of the young people we support face serious barriers such as loss of one or both parents, displacement, financial hardship, insecurity, and limited access to education. Despite these challenges, they are determined to build better futures for themselves and their communities.
We support young people from all backgrounds š. Our programs are open regardless of gender, religion, ethnic group, nationality, or social status. Many of our scholarship recipients are the first in their families to attend tertiary level education or formal skills acquisition training. We walk alongside them, offering not just financial support, but guidance, encouragement, and long term mentorship.
Beyond the youth we serve directly, Ema4kids works closely with families, community leaders, schools, training institutions, and local partners šļøš¤². We believe that sustainable change happens when communities are involved, informed, and empowered to protect and support their young people.
Our work spans both national and international contexts š. We support youth in Nigeria across several states including Abia, Bauchi, Gombe, Imo, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kwara, Kogi, Lokoja, Nasarawa, Plateau, and Taraba States. We also have youth attend tertiary institutions in Benin Republic, India, the West Bank, and the United States. Through these we strengthen our impact and share learning across borders.
