🌟 Welcoming Bright Ekperebuikem Divine to the Ema4kids Family

At Ema4kids Legacy Foundation, we are delighted to introduce Bright Ekperebuikem Divine, our newest Scholarship Recipient (SR). Bright is a 300-level medical student at the College of Medicine, Abia State University, Uturu. His passion for medicine goes far beyond earning a certificate — for him, it is a calling to transform lives, impact communities, and serve humanity with compassion.

A Journey Shaped by Life’s Challenges Bright’s desire to become a doctor is deeply personal. After losing his father in 2018 to adult-onset diabetes mellitus — a condition worsened by financial hardship and poor management — he resolved to specialize in endocrinology. His goal is to not only treat patients but also advocate for public health and mentor young people in Nigeria, especially those in underserved communities.

Career Goals and Vision Bright dreams of becoming a proficient and compassionate endocrinologist, dedicated to:

• Providing care for people with diabetes and other endocrine diseases.

• Extending healthcare services to rural communities.

• Leading public health advocacy and awareness campaigns.

• Mentoring youths to inspire resilience and excellence.

  
  

The Role of Education For Bright, education is the tool that unlocks purpose. Through his training, he is building the skills to diagnose, manage, and care for patients with empathy and efficiency. He believes education equips him to make evidence-based decisions, lead bold initiatives in healthcare, and give back to the community — including Ema4kids, which he proudly calls “the foundation that has raised me.”
