The Ema4kids Legacy Foundation is more than just a scholarship program. For many young people, especially orphans and vulnerable youth, getting an education can feel impossible. But thanks to this foundation, students like Caleb and Friday are seeing doors open, doors that lead to learning, personal growth, and the chance to build a better future.
🎓 Scholarship Support
Caleb talks about what the scholarship means to him:
"The foundation has a great scholarship program, giving opportunities to those who really want to go far in their academic journey but do not have the means. Education is power, and Ema4kids is doing an excellent job in that area."
For Caleb, the scholarship is not just about paying school fees. It is about being able to focus, grow, and think about his future without constant stress about tuition, feeding, or accommodation.
Friday feels the same way:
"Ema4kids are really doing well to see that young individuals do well in school or skill acquisition and have something that they can hold onto in life. I am grateful to be part of this scholarship program."
📚 Training
Training is another area where both Caleb and Friday have benefited. Caleb explains:
"I have had and I am still going through several trainings that are helping me personally to be a better version of myself."
Friday adds:
"The training is very interesting. The trainers know what to do very well and are well trained in their work."
It is clear that these trainings are doing more than teaching skills. They are shaping how the scholars think, act, and approach challenges.
🤝 Mentorship
Mentorship is close to Caleb's heart. He says:
"Mentorship is passing down what you have learned to those coming behind you. The foundation has quality mentors who have been through what we are going through."
Friday also finds mentorship inspiring:
"When it comes to mentorship, the staff do their best to mentor us on what is expected so that one day we can, in turn, mentor others just like we were mentored."
Both of them feel that having someone guide them through challenges makes a huge difference, not just for now, but for the future.
💡 Leadership
Leadership training has been eye-opening for both scholars. Caleb says:
"For one to be a leader, you must first be a good follower, which is what the foundation is training us to be. We are being prepared to make a positive difference tomorrow."
Friday reflects:
"We are trained to be leaders who will make a difference wherever we find ourselves and bring positive change to our communities."
It is not just about titles or positions. They are learning how to inspire others, make decisions responsibly, and create positive change wherever they go.
🛡️ Guardianship
Both Caleb and Friday also feel supported and guided in their decisions. Caleb explains:
"Everyone needs guidance in their lives. Without it, one can make decisions that ruin their lives. The foundation is doing an excellent job in guiding us."
Friday agrees:
"The staff try to guide us on what to do, how to do it, and what is expected of us, and they are really trying their best."
This sense of guardianship gives them confidence. They know they are not alone and that someone genuinely cares about their growth and wellbeing.
🌱 Personal Impact
Caleb shares how the foundation has influenced his life:
"The program has impacted my life in different ways. It has shaped the way I think and react to things around me, giving me a better mindset on how to be a better version of myself for society."
Friday reflects on his own growth:
"This program has made me a better version of myself. It has helped me be accountable, positive, and respectful toward others. It also helped me see things from perspectives I never considered before."
"It has been helpful in keeping track of what I do and how I treat people around me, with respect and dignity, regardless of status, age, or religion."
Shared Impact: Transformation Beyond Education
When you hear Caleb and Friday talk about Ema4kids, one thing is clear. This foundation is about more than money or school fees. It is about building character, confidence, and community.
They are learning skills, receiving guidance, and developing leadership qualities that will help them not just in school, but in life. Their experiences show that with the right support, young people can thrive, dream bigger, and create positive change in their communities.
Ema4kids is not just helping them today. It is preparing the next generation of leaders, thinkers, and changemakers. For Caleb and Friday, it is a foundation that truly inspires hope, growth, and a brighter future.
